Well, I'm nothing if not undaunted...while my Kickstarter campaigns have been lacking, I've decided to re-launch my maneki Neko art book project on IndieGoGo instead, which is nice because it allows for PayPal payments instead of Amazon payments (easier for everybody), and also allows for my taking in the money gained without having to reach the goal amount. This way I can give people the rewards they pledge to no matter what. I slimmed the goal down some and removed some of the art tiers which included original art rewards...I don't have any more Prismacolor markers since I sold them off to help fund my former campaign advertisements, game components, etc. Yeah, big mistake there and a lot of money lost all 'round but like with everything, it takes money to make money, and sometimes you don't get back the amount you invested...and in this case I can't make any more traditional cards of any kind without the markers. But I've re-launched the kitties anyway: [link] I put a lot of work into these cards and making the book layout and with any luck (kitties, help me out here!) maybe I can get the book into the hands that want it and maybe buy back some prismas, heh.
