FREE Werewolf Art References

Fri Aug 14, 2009, 3:48 PM
Just letting everyone know, if you purchase the "Anatomy of a Werewolf" book, all of the art contained therein (including the art I post to my gallery) is free for you to go ahead and reference from. This means you can draw your own versions. You can copy poses to learn the anatomy better. I've included tons of images of heads, hands, feet, etc. for this purpose. So feel free to have fun, experiment, and not worry about being tracked down and flames over it.

Check out what a friend just sent me:

Using the anatomy book. This was the highlight of my day, to see another artist picking up a pencil again to draw. And I'm honored to hear your positive feedback (those that have bought the book) and reviews! As always, I'd love to see what you come up with from using the book so keep at it. The world could use more were-critters.

I love your work, love it to death. But, the only thing I find the slightest bit misconceptual is the werewolf thing. For one, most of the Wolves I know prefer to be called Lycans. For another, if you ask them what they look like while as wolves, they simply say they appear to be large wolves, with all the same features, not oddly morphed bipedal werewolves like the ones in your art. Although your work is cool though! Just letting you know, as some real weres might find it sorta offensive...

this is exsactly the style i wanna have someday , when it comes to draw wolfs --> pratical my goal to get as good , but just started on that... just cool

Bleistift , was sonst.. / Pencil , what else..
:iconwatergazerwolf:
If I use refs I use wolf photographs. I also go to the zoo and take video/photos. I include a lot of those photos in the book as well...a bonus photography section.
