NEWS! The Tentative Release Date for this book will be in: November 2007! And for those of you desiring all manner of hand positions, this will be a must-have. It will have no less than 4 pages of hands. It will be a larger book than originally planned and my cost more, but it will have tons of referance material art for poses, faces, limbs, you name it. There may also be a pre-sale so keep on the lookout for more info. on this book.
This is the cover of the book I'm doing, "Anatomy of a Werewolf," which will cover several aspects of the werewolf species in my novel and will serve as both a teaser for that and also an art guide/ref. manual, for artists to use. I wanted to make it look like a notebook cover (since I opted for it to be spiral bound) that's pretty worn and dirty, though I don't think I captured that effect well at all.
My name won't actually appear on the cover itself (since it will be narrated by a character who happens to be a coyote) but only inside on the Copyright page to better enhance the notebook effect throughout. The book is progressing, and you'll be happy to know it's going to have a whole LOT of images and a special section just dealing with transformations.
For some reason, even after a few tries, this image looks darker than the actual thing, which is not so flat and dull...and naturally it looks sucky due to compression alone. Ugh...all my labors gone to waste yet again with digital. BUT THERE IS HOPE! It won't look like this on the actual published book!
And I just want you to know that I haven't forgotten about SS. I'm in the middle of finals right now and will email you a new markup probably late next week.
Ill most likely try and get a copy as soon as it comes out.
This looks great and im sure it looks better when not compressed. This will sure be an awesome book.

Dead I am the life, dig into the skin Knuckle crack the bone, 21 to win Dead I am the dog, hound of hell you cry Devil on your back, I can never die
Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.
DeviantArt is full of extremely well produced artistic fashion and fine art photographs. Make up. Styling. Creation of scenery. Story. Light. Glamour. A combination of these expressions sometimes make up a great photograph. But the protagonists of these pictures are usually female.
So... now it's the time for male models to come into focus.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
